Nanotechnology Research and Commercialization
Washington, DC -- The NanoBusiness Alliance, the world's
leading nanotechnology trade association, today announced
that many of its members will converge in Washington, D.C.
from February 26 - 28 for its annual Public Policy Tour. As
in past years, NanoBusiness Alliance members will meet with
key House and Senate Committees, participate in a briefing
with the Congressional Nanotech Caucus and High Tech Caucus
and meet individual House and Senate members. |
|
In addition, the NanoBusiness Alliance will
hold a Nanotechnology Showcase on Capitol Hill, where
legislators can meet nanotech business leaders and see the
latest products and technologies.
"This year's Public Policy Tour is of particular importance
as the 21st Century Nanotechnology Research and Development
Act is coming up for renewal," said Sean Murdock, Executive
Director of the NanoBusiness Alliance. "By meeting with
leaders on the Hill, we have an opportunity to shape the
growing U.S. investment in nanotechnology over the next five
years and direct attention to the importance of the small
businesses commercializing nanotechnology and the role they
play in stimulating sustainable economic growth, providing
jobs and maintaining America's competitiveness."
