Santa Ana, CA -- ITT Interconnect Solutions developed a
range of nano-miniature connectors that use twist pin
micro-miniature contact technology. The connectors feature a
reduced contact pitch of 0.635mm, providing significant
space and weight savings when compared to conventional
micro-miniature connectors. |

The nano-miniature connectors feature
high reliability electrical contact terminations with
insulated wire/pigtails, providing secure connections even
in severe shock and vibration environments. The miniature
circular connectors are available with up to 266 contacts
and feature a wide range of contact counts and layout
configurations, along with a variety of terminations, to
meet specific customer requirements.
The nano-miniature connectors have a contact rating of 1A
and a lifespan of 500 mating cycles. For applications where
EMC is a concern, a version of the connector is available
with a NDM metal shell, 3.81mm seated height and 9-37
contacts in single row layout.
Lead time for the nano-miniature connectors is from 6 to 10
weeks.
